VIP protection, VIP must start at point a and reach point b how he/his bodyguards get him there is there choice, how the enemy keeps him from getting there is there choice.
Bodyguards respawn but have to go back to point a to respawn, defenders may or may not respawn thinking it would prob work better if they don't but hard to say.
Point control, think battlefield several "flags" that have to be defended you go to the flag put your teams flag up you now own that "point" you can sit and defend the point or try and get more say 4 total points after a set period of time whoever owns the most points wins the match, if equal number are owned game is continued untill one team has more points.

I've played VIP before, very fun. Lots of good strategies to make use of. One time I played, the VIP team sent all but 1 bodyguard to the right side of the field as decoys, while the VIP and the single bodyguard snuck around the other side. It was pretty interesting to watch it unfold.
I believe our VIP was unarmed, making him more vulnerable. Or you could arm him with a pistol or a pump.
Adding in the headshots only would make it more difficult for the other team, but I imagine the bodyguards weren't respawning in that game.

I remember playing a game at Sp there once. I think it was Jeff reffing maybe, can't remember. Anyway it was a zombie game. Start off even teams, like 2 or 3 lives total, and you get shot you respawn opposite team. It was a while ago but that was pretty tough once you start getting more uneven and trying to stay alive! The only thing kinda hard would be if a lot of people were playing though and trying to remember who's on who's team is all.

Another way kinda sounds fun:Head and Torso kills only. Sometimes it sucks getting a gun shot and things like that.

I think a rescue the hostage game would be a blast out on the woodsball course. I was writing up a game based on an aircraft being shot down. Basically you have 3 groups, Group 1 Victims Small group maybe 5 or so that sit in a small bunker (the aircraft) that can not move more then 20 feet from the crash site till either the Rescuing team shows up or the time hits 10 minutes. Besides this they would have to draw from a hat to see if they have injuries. Injuries can only be fixed by a Rescuer's Medic by way of a White Rag/Bandage. Untill the medic bandages them they cannot use that part. Group 2 Rescuers About 1/3rd of the remaining group will make up the rescuers. This group will have the medics with a ratio of 1 out of 3 that can bandage up the fallen. Group 3 Attackers The remaining players will be the Attackers. They will have unlimited lives but will need to respawn at a point that is farthest from the Crash site so Group 1 and 2 have a chance. After everyone is seperated the Attackers would be the first to get setup so that they did not know where the crash was. Next would be the Crash victims. Just before the start whistle sounds the ref would point in the dirrection of the crash for the Rescuers so they would have a general idea of where the crash site was. I was still working out the details but this is just a very quick draft of what I was writing. I was also working out a way for the Attackers to capture the Crash victims which would then result in a Hostage rescue involving the Village. Sorry if it sounds a little complicated I'm wiped and ready for sleep! Unfortunatly for me I think October 10th will be the last time I get out to play this year so I probably wouldn't get to play this scenario type till next year.

Awwshoot, that sounds like a pretty cool game. would take some time to get the details down but based on what you said, this sounds pretty sweet. nice scenario. I'm game.
