Been thinking with the talk again of a MagFed group, what do we consider Magfed?
What is considered a MagFed marker. My main thought is that a Magfed marker does not have the ability to reload while shooting. This rules out TacCaps, Box Mags, hoppers, and anything alse that could be filled while shooting. There needs to be some sort of blockage between your refill source and the firing chamber. That blockage cannot allow more than 1 round between the blockage and the firing chamber.
True Magazine fed markers can some times leave one in the chamber but the 1 to 2 next rounds drop when ejected.
Does a "MagFed" have to use a removable magazine? Hard one, but it may be possible to consider for instance a Trracer to be "MagFed" with the 10 round spring fed tube feed up top. To fill it you have to turn the paint feed from marker to the top fill tube. This type of marker could possibly be considered a MagFed. It would all depend on the groups vote towards how strict we want to be.
Magazine capacity Limit?
I would limit to 30 rounds preferably 20 rounds since the 30 round magazines would be awkward for those trying to maximize their rounds.

Personally, I would love to limit to markers using detachable magazines that can only be refilled detached from the marker but especially in the beginning I wouldn't want to restrict someone from trying the sport.

I can see you're point and I agree. Detachable, limited ammo, that cannot be refilled while firing. We really do need to run a few mag fed/ pump games.

I'm sure some of us team/tourny guys would be down for a pump/magfed day.

Just as long as they fit the "magfed" criteria, no hoppers allowed. ;P
Otherwise, love to have them join in the fun!

I totally agree with this. We should organize a mag-fed day next season with some scenario games.
