Hello Everybody. With Superior Paintball recently starting to have airsoft games, I figured it would be a good idea to post here with a brief description of whom the MAA are, and who I am.
The MAA has been the premier airsoft organization since around the year 2000 when it was formed. From its forming, the MAA has swelled to over 100 official members, and has brought together an airsofting community of hundreds of people. The main goal of the organization has always been to promote safe, and legal airsoft play, as well as to expand the sport to the masses. If there is any information that you want to learn about airsoft, from what guns are good, to proper safety procedures, to places where you can play, and everything in between, there is no better place to look than the MAA's discussion board: forum.mnairsoft.org/index.php. If you want to become more involved in the sport as a whole, I would strongly recommend creating an account there, and checking out its content, as well as just saying hello.
As to who I am, I am a 20 year old airsoft player, whom has been playing airsoft for about five years now. I live in the Lino Lakes area, but have traveled to fields in Wisconsin, Illinois, and other parts of Minnesota. I am also one of the newest official members of the MAA. I have participated in some of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois largest airsoft games. If anyone on this board has any questions about airsoft, I would be glad to answer them. I hope to eventually make it up to a game in your area in order to see how airsoft is being played in the north.
