Hey guys, first time posting on the forum and was curious about possibly creating a group of players that are strictly milsim/mag-fed. Just putting it out there to see if I have any takers. Let me know!

A car load may be all we need.

There already is. Been around for around 10 years or so...
It has had multiple names and I can count all the members on 1 hand.
I believe its going to be called "Get Rekt Frigate" next year.

Yep, been mentioning that it would be nice to get a magfed group together for a couple years now. Why don't you tell us about yourself, I have no idea who you are. Then again the last couple years have been a bit crazy and I can count my total game days on both hands.

My name is Clark, I've been playing over in Superior for about three years off and on but have gotten into it a lot this year and have been out two to three times a month. Most of you guys probably have seen me around lugging my BT Delta. I've found some interest mag-fed and have a Milsig CQC and Tiberius Arms 8.1 I hope to be using soon. I'll be looking for this crew, if you are a part of it let me know when you come out, I'd like to meet you (three or four) folks.

Hey Clark, we met at the July open day and were talking about the Tiberius T15. I was running the DE DAM. I think most 90% of the magfed players at Superior are running T8s. I sold mine and upgraded to a T8.1 but found the 1st Gen Tx.1 a PITA at time to quickly reload. The originals could be loaded in a few seconds keeping you running hard. The Gen 2 Tx.1 mags brought back the dual pull down follower but I already have 8 of the 1st gen. Have seen a few TiPXs, a RAP4, one or 2 MilSigs, 2 T9s, 4 DAMs (2 are local), and quite a few T8 players that play at Superior. Too many TiPXs sit in holsters unused instead of enjoying them *looks at Chad* but the Tiberius get used a lot.

Nice to hear from you again. I did some more research and just grew fond of the Milsig M series over the T15. As for the T8.1, nothing sounds cooler than hearing that 12 gram hiss as you reload. I'm hoping to be out again either this Sunday or later in October. Keep me posted on when you and your mag-box beast return. Artist

LOL will do but I may be done for the year, we will see. May finally have the deck almost finished Saturday. As far as the T15 goes, sounds like they had a few issues on the first run and people still cannot buy extra magazines. Tiberius is working on a new mold for the magazines but we will see. My now 2 large issues with the T15 are the Proprietary barrel (currently a Machinist working on a threaded barrel insert) and that it is not regulated! * Shakes head* The MilSig M series sounds like a good direction! I have to change springs in the magazines for the DAM before I can use it for regular paint so I either have to buy some or tear into one of my boxes of D-Mags for the MKP-IIs. I plan to have it ready for MagFed this spring. Need to cut back my paint consumption since almost a case a day is far from my old norm! LOL Also still trying to get my oldest out to play so again who knows. LOL

Hows it going Clark? Glad to see that you made a boards account. I was thinking about the Spider Hammer 7. Thats kinda magfed...

A pump, mag-fed marker for $100? Can't go wrong with that Brandon. As Corporal Dwayne Hicks from 'Aliens' would say, "I like to keep this for close encounters." (Nerdiness Shown) I like the concept of taking your shot, being precise, and having limited ammunition. And no worries Awwshoot, playing next spring will give me time to practice.

Brandon, I have heard good things about the Hammer 7. 9 round magazines should be available again soon. Think they would be the most affordable MagFed too.
HonorCore is another magfed manufacturer getting started trying to make affordable Magfed markers. You know their early models as the TGR from Scarab Arms. They were a group of 3 or 4 companies but are now just the one under HonorCore. They have a true Bullpup in the works but only time will tell. Didn't like how the TGR requires you to change springs for velocity adjustment. Maybe they will do something different.

Maintenance on the HonorCore looks like running a marathon to me, no thanks. I also agree with you about the velocity springs, just absurd. The M series has a two pin take down with two or three O-rings. So simple it you could clean it in the back of your car at the field. Work smarter, not harder.
I thought about getting the Hammer 7 but was more interested in an AR style semi-auto than working a pump. Still wouldn't mind trying it out sometime.

LOL yeah I never really looked into the HonorCore since I already have the MKP-IIs. Only bought the DAM because I needed something that could flip between regular paint and First Strikes at Scenarios. Tried with my T9.1 but the hopper adapter couldn't yold the Prophecy and came apart at the beginning of the game dropping my hopper to the ground. Then DYE released the Box Rotor. Just need to work out a few bugs so I can flip between mags and Box Rotor since I'm cracking the next First Strike when I fire the one before it. My bolt O-ring was missing so I'm betting the groove was catching the FSR skirt. I'll get it figured out, just need the time I don't have right now.

Lol Awwshoot, yup, my tpx is getting kinda bored with spider webs on it! *Looking at the ground shyly, kick the dirt*. You're right I need to get it out more often. Haha
