The cromwell guys are coming to this. Right now I have a car full of 5 guys who cant wait for big game 2014. We would like to be on the same team and included in the superior group. I also have a question. Do we usually go down the night before and camp? That just seems easier to me

Excellent! We camp Saturday night to the right just as you pull into the lot. My Expedition is usually first on the right as you come in. We stick to that spot to make it easier for those who come in later in the evening. We play Midwest Alliance (red), also recommend FRS/GRMS radio for communication. Still waiting on info as far as Generals, hope it is someone I know or someone a friend down there knows so we can be included in the plans.

Rate of fire raised to 15BPS again Ramping is allowed! These are just to test again and see if they work so do what you can not to light someone up. FYI I think most of us cap our Rat of fire at 10 bps to conserve paint. Don't forget to Pre-Register before May 30th to get in for $40. Price will bump up to $50 game day. FYI, there hasn't been Pre-Registration for our 3 Previous games so I'm guessing they have something fun in mind if they have a good turnout coming kind of like they did the game Chad/SnapShot and Kurt/BlueCoyote made it to where they built a Castle in the main parking lot. Giant Big Game Pre-Registration I will also have to look over the rules since they made changes for this GBG!

what is a fsr/grms radio? I'd definiitly look into getting one if i knew what they were. It would be a good investment since I could use it for future games too

They are your basic bubble pack radio. I used a Midland GTX1050VP4 in September and it was great. The headset that came with it was great for communication but my ear felt like it was ready to fall off at the end of the day so I'm searching for a different headset. The GTX1050VP4 is the same setup I have but in black and cheaper. I really liked the Midland and they seem preferred until you get into the Baofeng but I'm not ready to jump into programming radios right now. September not only was I able to call for support from the General, I was also able to communicate with another team sharing the frequency. They even came to provide support for a bit at one of the bases then moved on to help with another base. Also nice to call in the opposing tanks so our LAWs or tank can eliminate them.

New update, Renegade Kings were offered XO for the Midwest Alliance for June so we will be all set and should be able to pull a good roll in this GBG! Get you radios ready and we are going to have a blast! Also sounds like we will have some more X7OG members to roll with.

What would you say some of the battles are like? Numbers wise? Is it a very tiring game?

There are people everywhere...

It's a huge area. Some areas have a lot of players, others, not so much. It depends on what base is being fought for. You can always take a break, anytime. An area that definitely empty during the game is the parking and camping areas. It's tons of fun that you will not regret doing.

How much shooting is done on average would you all say? I seen someone say that 2-3 cases should be good. I am guessing lots of water is key, And that the concessions is over priced. So It wouldn't be to bad of a price to just play the game. So I may do this depending on circumstances.

I think the most I have shot so far is 1.5 cases. I always make sure I bring enough for 2 cases.
Concessions are not the badly priced and good. Just have to make sure you have your money with so you can jump in line as soon as you step off the field.
Last I heard Splat Tag was 250 acres of play area! You can find sections of dead areas and others with players everywhere so there are places if you need a break as well as a good fight.
Water will be as important as you goggles and Marker! Looked at moving away from a vest last year, but even just the ability to hold my water pouch will keep me with it. I will empty probably over 2 liters per half while slamming water before, inbetween, and after the games. I usually carry 6 larger Smart waters and can drink those over the event. The Electrolytes in them help keep you hydrated and moving.

Well if the circumstances allow I would love to go, sounds like an absolute blast! Is there a final battle? And I am a bit trigger happy sometimes so 2 cases would probably be enough for me to shoot. And I would imagine if that much water is consumed then the workload must be alot. So probably best to binge drink water for 2-3 days before.

Yeah I recommend going heavy on the water by at least Wednesday. Since this one is in June I will probably bring more water just in case. Now as far as final battles go, technically there is a final battle at the end of each half. The final battle for Green base first half of the September game was extremely intense! What a rush!
